Providing A Full Range of Wellness Care

Front Range Veterinary Clinic strives to maintain your pet’s health through the following aspects of care:

The physical examination is an integral part of the wellness exam, as it allows your veterinarian to assess your pet’s health while also revealing any additional issues that may need to be addressed. Your veterinarian will perform a full nose-to-tail examination of your pet including:

  • Checking their eyes using an ophthalmoscope
  • Examining their ears with an otoscope
  • Assessing their heart through a stethoscope

Evaluating their teeth, skin, coat, vital signs, body condition, joints as well as the abdominal contents

Our experienced team at Front Range Veterinary Clinic is trained to provide the highest quality of care when it matters the most. With use of our in-house laboratory, diagnostic technology, and advanced ICU, we offer internal medicine, which handles the diagnosis and treatment of disease inside the body. We usually see illnesses such as:

  • Pancreatitis
  • Kidney/urinary disease
  • Internal infections
  • Cancer
  • Diseases of the liver, gallbladder, endocrine system (e.g., diabetes, adrenal, thyroid, etc.) and heart disease

Sometimes it may be necessary to perform a more thorough assessment of your pet’s health which is why we recommend  bloodwork and screenings, and urinalysis every year. This enables our team to evaluate your pet’s overall health more accurately and if necessary, create a more effective treatment plan by catching a developing condition in the early stages.

Pet owners are their companion’s best advocates, and we consider you to be an important partner in your pet’s wellness. Our team strives to educate you throughout every step of your pet’s care and is happy to answer any questions or concerns you have.
